The Leslie “O” rings are used in most vintage Leslies. The rubber “O” ring or as they are sometimes called the “rubber tire” by technicians, can be found around the large pulley found on the four-pole motor. The four-pole motor is the larger of the two motors found in these Leslies. This “O” rings makes contact with the shaft of the smaller 2 pole motor and needs to be replaced when it no longer makes physical contact. We recommend that a factory-trained technician install this part.
